Good bye, my good friend
I said goodbye to my buddy Jebediah tonight. He's been suffering from a deep infection in his snout, and stopped eating about a week ago. Try as we might, there was nothing we could do. Tonight after work, he passed away peacefully in my arms.
He used to miss me when I'd go to work. He'd wait for me in the morning by my briefcase like this. I miss him already.

Greg, I'm very sorry for your loss. Our beloved Emmapepper left us on Saturday, and the void in our lives is felt in little moments here and there, but profound, none the less. Oddly enough, it was a mass in her snout that grew enough to begin cutting off her normal breathing. At any rate, we must be joyful for the time we had with them, and hope that we were as worthy companions to them as they were to us!
